Industrial automation has many positive effects to the people and the companies. It helps workers make their job easier. These machines are  significant to big companies that are meeting deadlines. It allows them to create have enough supplies for retail. It has contributed so much on the economy of a state that allows a certain manufacturer to provide goods to more consumers worldwide.

Automation also have its negative outcomes. Purchasing these machines will mean a bigger capital most especially to those newly formed businesses. It will not guarantee that the business will have enough profits even with the presence of automated machines, which will mean a waste of money to the manufacturer. Machines just like man sometimes experience a downfall and when machines function abnormally, it will mean a halt in the production of goods, and it will cause big losses to the company. These machines though useful can also be very harmful when not properly inspected regularly. It can cause violent activities like explosions or fire that may harm the person operating it. It can also consume more energy and may be a factor in the inadequacy of energy reserves in the world. The most common issue raised on the existence of automated machines in workplaces is unemployment. Since these machines are doing what humans can, for businessmen to lessen the cost on paying laborers, they tend to utilize more machines than humans. There are many individuals who had lost their jobs because of this new trend in technology. Instead of requiring a more workforce, those that are hired are only to control the machines which require a lesser number of individuals. Many individuals also become unqualified, since they need to have adequate knowledge about operating such machines.
